Арт у житті Одеси в одеських медіа, 1996

Декілька слів про культурно-мистецькі події в місті в 1996 році, що залишилися в історії завдяки журналу «Одеса» №3, №6:

«Тірс»: друге народження.

У нашому місті довгий час існував єдиний музей сучасного мистецтва в Україні. Саме так: музей був приватним, куплені всі твори були фірмою «Тірс», але відкритий музей був для міста, оскільки містився у колишньому шахському палаці (на Гоголя,2) і став центром тяжіння, спілкування у своїх стінах молодих художників, музикантів, архітекторів.

Що приваблювало цей музей, Насамперед – колекція. Керівники «Тірса», у минулому архітектори Г.Котов і С Каліка, збирачі колекції Ф.Кохріхт і куратор Маргарита Жаркова доклали чимало зусиль, щоб їхній музей відображав складний період нашого мистецтва – появу опору, інакодумства серед художників у шістдесяті – сімдесяті. Але не обмежувалися цим, влаштовуючи виставки авангардистів 80-90-х років, які продовжили своїми виразними засобами справу, розпочату в шістдесятих А.Ануфрієвим, Л.Ястребом, В.Хрущом, В.Стрельниковим…

На жаль, колишній шахський палац так і не став музеєм. Хоча здається, згодом такі особняки, як цей, як колишній Жовтневий райком партії на Сабанєєвому мості, мають ухвалити музейні колекції.

Але повернемося до сьогоднішнього дня. Музей тепер, правда у вигляді галереї, відродився. Для нього знайдено помешкання на проспекті Шевченка, 10/9, де і відбулося його друге народження.

Осінь – пора мальовнича.

Це з непереборною енергією доводять художники та галеристи. На морському вокзалі зусиллями Морської галереї, міськради, відділу зовнішніх зв'язків обладміністрації, морського порту відбулася перша Міжнародна виставка мариністики.

А у музеї західного та східного мистецтва у зв'язку з 50-річчям виставка скульптури Євгена Леліченка. «Суміш небес та балагану» – так визначила його пошуки мистецтвознавець Л.Сауленко. Але хто знає, може, в балагані більше піднесеного, ніж у показних молитвах.

Художній музей порадував любителів живопису зустріччю із картинами Світлани Крижевської. Художниця прагне людям міста показати сільський побут, дати відчути свої витоки, красу вигляду селян, забути тривоги життя у спогляданні села.

А галерея «Ліберті» показала у Всесвітньому клубі одеситів мажорні пейзажі Адольфа Лози, а у приміщенні галереї на Ланжеронівській,24 гармонійні «Дуети» Тетяни Гончаренко.

A few words about the cultural and artistic events in the city in 1996, remembered in history by "Odessa" magazine, issues 3 and 6:

"Thirsus": A Rebirth.

For a long time, our city was home to Ukraine's only contemporary art museum. That's right: the museum was private, all the works were purchased by the "Thirsus" company, but it was open to the city, as it was housed in the former Shah's Palace (at 2 Gogolya Street) and became a center of attraction and interaction for young artists, musicians, and architects.

What attracted people to this museum was, first and foremost, its collection. The directors of the "Thirsus," former architects G. Kotov and S. Kalika, collection collectors F. Kokhrikht, and curator Margarita Zharkova, put considerable effort into ensuring their museum reflected a difficult period in Russian art – the emergence of resistance and dissent among artists in the 1960s and 1970s. But they didn't stop there, organizing exhibitions of avant-garde artists of the 1980s and 1990s, who continued with their expressive means the work begun in the 1960s by A. Anufriev, L. Yastreb, V. Khrushch, and V. Strelnikov.

Unfortunately, the former Shah's palace never became a museum. Although one would imagine that, in time, mansions like this one, like the former Zhovtnevy District Party Committee building on Sabaneyev Bridge, should house museum collections.

But let's return to the present day. The museum, now in gallery form, has been reborn. A space was found for it at 10/9 Shevchenko Avenue, where it was reborn.

Autumn is a picturesque time.

Artists and gallery owners demonstrate this with inexhaustible energy. The first International Marine Art Exhibition was held at the Marine Terminal, thanks to the efforts of the Marine Gallery, the City Council, the Regional Administration's Department of External Relations, and the seaport.

And the Museum of Western and Eastern Art, in honor of its 50th anniversary, is hosting an exhibition of sculpture by Yevgeny Lelichenko. "A mixture of heaven and circus" is how art historian L. Saulenko described his explorations. But who knows, perhaps there's more sublimity in circus than in ostentatious prayers.

The Art Museum delighted art lovers with a display of Svetlana Kryzhevskaya's paintings. The artist strives to show city dwellers rural life, to give them a sense of their roots, the charm of villagers, and to forget the worries of life in contemplation of the countryside. The Liberty Gallery showed Adolf Loza's vibrant landscapes at the World Club of Odessans, and Tatyana Goncharenko's harmonious "Duets" at the gallery's premises at 24 Langeronovskaya Street.
