У ці роки я почала працювати над серією портретів художників. Першим став портрет Володі Харченка – «визнаного генія серед художників».

З Володимиром стосунки у мене не склалися стосунки, чому не знаю. Але не люблю я п'яних людей. А в галерею він приходив практично завжди у непривабливому вигляді та стані. Звичайно ж він талановитий художник, але я, будучи дочкою людини, яка мала подібні проблеми, досі і в жодному вигляді не приймаю непривабливих людей, які погано пахнули. Може хтось із галеристів, що розплодилися, не тільки приймає таких, але й наживається за їх рахунок, я вважаю це безчесним.

Щодо портретів, на той час у мене закінчилася незвичайна життєва смуга. Досі, коли я писала, чий чи портрет, жінки відразу виходили заміж, можна сказати, не йдучи далеко від Уютной. Почавши писати портрети художників, я почала їх втрачати. Пішов із галереї Ізмайловський, якого прихопила, разом із адресами та координатами Н.Городецька, пішла Лора Нестеренко, пішов та згодом і Мазур. А портрети лишилися. Пам'ятаю навесні, мені мої дітки з Уютной, знаючи, що я дуже люблю іриси, принесли величезний букет, нарвавши його в Обчислювальному центрі на Морській. Я написала велике полотно і вписала туди Ларису Нестеренко - вийшов портрет-«Лариса в ірисах»

 А портрет Лєші Мазура вже багато років займає чільне місце в приймальні Олександра Адольфовича Прокопенка (секретаря Міській ради)- який у нього уособлює образ його політичної боротьби (на потреті я зобразила Льошу та Ірину і вічного супутника Олексія- Єдинорога. Олександр Адольфович вірить у те, що моя робота його захищає від усіх напастей і вже багато років незважаючи на зміну руководства і вже багато років незважаючи на зміну руководства.

А ми продовжували працювати, тобто жити.

Зараз, у момент написання цього матеріалу, я працюю над новим проектом. Після представленого в 2006 році проекту-Ах, Африка, я вирішила зробити проект Ах, Одеса, а саме створити портретну галерею красивих одеситів, тих хто подобається мені. Одесити усі дуже гарні люди, але є особливі – ті, хто виділяється на загальному тлі, але вони мають бути, безумовно, приємні мені особисто, без цього не обійтися. Презентувати проект, я маю намір у 2008 році, під час святкування галереєю свого 15-річчя, та 10-річчя з моменту, коли галерея стала галереєю Одеського порту. Я сподіваюся, що все залишиться чинним, і галерею не знищать. Так ось на виставці я обов'язково покажу і ці портрети-портрети 90-х! 

Усі ці портрети через час увійшли до колекції Одеського Історико Краєзнавчого Музею!

Portraits and Artists

During these years I began working on a series of portraits of artists. The first was the portrait of Volodya Kharchenko, a "recognized genius among artists."

I didn't get along with Vladimir, I don't know why. But I don't like drunk people. And he almost always came to the gallery in an unsightly state. Of course, he is a talented artist, but I, being the daughter of a man who had similar problems, still do not accept unsightly and bad-smelling people in any form. Maybe one of the proliferating gallery owners not only accepts such people, but also profits at their expense, I consider this dishonest.

As for portraits, at that time I had an extraordinary streak in my life. Until now, when I painted someone's portrait, the women immediately got married, so to speak, without going far from Uyutnaya. Having started painting portraits of artists, I began to lose them. Izmailovsky left the gallery, taken along with the addresses and coordinates by N. Gorodetskaya, Lora Nesterenko left, and Mazur left later. But the portraits remained. I remember in the spring, my children from Uyutnaya, knowing that I really love irises, brought me a huge bouquet, having picked it at the Computing Center on Morskaya. I painted a large canvas and included Larisa there - the result was a portrait - "Larisa in Irises"

And the portrait of Lesha Mazur has occupied a prominent place in the reception room of Alexander Prokopenko for many years - which personifies the image of his political struggle (in the portrait I depicted Lesha and Irina and Alexey's eternal companion, the Unicorn. Alexander Adolfovich believes that my work protects him from all misfortunes and for many years, despite the change in the leadership of the mayor's office, he has occupied the same office and the same position.

And we continued to work, that is, to live.

Now, at the time of writing this material, I am working on a new project. After the project presented in 2006 - "Ah, Africa", I decided to do the project "Ah, Odessa", namely to create a portrait gallery of beautiful Odessans, those who I like. Odessans are all very beautiful people, but there are special ones - those who stand out from the crowd, but they should certainly be are pleasant to me personally, it is impossible to do without it. I intend to present the project in 2008, during the celebration of the gallery's 15th anniversary, and the 10th anniversary of the gallery becoming the Odessa Port Gallery. I hope that everything will remain in force, and the gallery will not be destroyed. So at the exhibition I will definitely show these portraits - portraits of the 90s!

All these portraits eventually became part of the collection of the Odessa Museum of History and Local Lore!
