Круїз - перший у житті.

Найімовірніше до березня 1994 року у галереї відбувалися якісь події, але в наших архівах згадки про це немає. Може в процесі щось і проявиться.

 У травні місяці, ми з Радою вирушили вперше в житті в круїз середземним морем і не просто відпочивати, ми художньо оформляли судно! Все це сталося завдяки нашим спонсорам Чорноморського морського пароплавства. Керівництво пароплавства придбало картини в нашій галереї для розміщення на судні, а так як частина з них були графічними аркушами, то ми були відряджені в круїз для того, щоб закупивши в Піреї рами та скла, оформити ці аркуші та розмістити в інтер'єрах.

 Це була дуже щаслива нагода поєднати корисне з приємним. Поки був перехід, ми працювали, а коли судно заходило до порту, ми разом із пасажирами виходили на берег та відвідували всі пам'ятні місця.

Найбільше мене вразила Олександрія - бруднішого порту, я більше не бачила ніде. На мене справив приголомшливе враження ринок - величезні гори овочів, різних видів маслин, фруктів, всі провулочки залиті якимись помиями, а біля входу в лавки, єгиптяни, маленькі і зморщені, але з дуже значним видом кальян, що посмоктують. Дуже красива жінка. Весь народ радий туристам, усі посміхаються і махають нам слідом. Під час відвідування бібліотеки Клеопатри вразили новобудови, що розташовані поруч. Я не могла зрозуміти, звідки там такий важкий запах, як виявилось у цих висотних будинках, немає вікон і запах виходив саме від туди… Вражень багато, але це тема для іншої розповіді.

 Поки ми їхали, у галереї залишилася замість нас "подруга" Тетяна Недопака (Бубнівська), моя співучниця з училища.

 Після цього випадку вона розповідала всім, що саме вона відкрила галерею «На Затишній», і саме їй ми повинні бути вдячні за всі досягнення галереї.

The first cruise in my life.

Most likely, some events took place in the gallery before March 1994, but there is no mention of this in our archives. Maybe something will appear in the process...

In May, Radu and I went on our first cruise in the Mediterranean Sea and not just to relax, we decorated the ship artistically! All this happened thanks to our sponsors, the Black Sea Shipping Company. The shipping company's management purchased paintings from our gallery to place on the ship, and since some of them were graphic sheets, we were sent on a cruise to buy frames and glass in Piraeus, decorate these sheets and place them in the interiors.

It was a very happy opportunity to combine business with pleasure. While the crossing was going on, we worked, and when the ship entered the port, we went ashore with the passengers and visited all the memorable places.

Most of all I was struck by Alexandria - I have never seen a dirtier port anywhere. I was incredibly impressed by the market - huge mountains of vegetables, different types of olives, fruits, all the alleys are flooded with some kind of slops, and near the entrance to the shops, Egyptians, small and wrinkled, but with a very significant look sucking on a hookah. Very beautiful women. All the people are happy to see tourists, everyone smiles and waves at us. When visiting the Cleopatra Library, I was struck by the new buildings located nearby. I could not understand where such a heavy smell came from, as it turned out there were no windows in these high-rise buildings and the smell was coming from there ... There are many impressions, but this is a topic for another story.

While we were leaving, a "friend" Tatyana Nedopaka (Bubnovskaya), my classmate from college, stayed in the gallery instead of us. After this incident, she told everyone that it was she who opened the gallery "Na Uyutnoy", and it is she who we should be grateful for all the achievements of the gallery.
