Black Sea Shipping Company and the Fathers of the Maritime Gallery

Gallery "Na Uyutnoy" had been working for a whole year already and I can't say that financial affairs were going well. After I changed the status of the workshop to an enterprise, I needed to pay rent. My sister Lyuda hired employees who needed to be paid a salary, as you understand, money was needed for all this, not to mention organizing exhibitions. All this was expensive, and you couldn’t rely on the sale of paintings.

Аnd I had an idea to create a second gallery - Maritime!

And I started to implement this idea.

The end of 1992, as well as the beginning of 1993, was marked by my entry into the Black Sea Shipping Company (BSSC), the fact is that it was after holding the first Marina on Uyutnaya that this idea became stronger in me.

At that time, communicating with modelers who made yacht models, I learned that there are galleries in the world with a marine focus.

I came across a brochure for the Mystic Maritime Gallery from the USA. After thinking about it, I decided that it would be great for our city to have a marine gallery, and the sponsor of such a project could be the most powerful enterprise in the marine industry in Ukraine, which was the Black Sea Shipping Company at that time. I began my campaigns with a proposal to create a gallery back in the days when the head of the Black Sea Shipping Company was Mr. V. V. Pilipenko, and the position of head of the external relations department was occupied by Alexey Savitsky. But, unfortunately, it was at that time and right before my eyes that the collapse of this most famous Ukrainian enterprise in the world was taking place, and the management changed, and they had no time for my ideas. Despite all this, I became a frequent guest of the external relations department of the Black Sea Shipping Company. I was introduced to its head, Alexander Georgievich Vinnitsky, by Vitaly Alexandrovich Oplachko, a frequent guest of the gallery on Uyutnaya. I am grateful to fate for sending me a meeting with such wonderful people. Especially to Oleg Borisovich Smagliy, who for a long time took an active part in the fate of the gallery. At this stage, the fates of both galleries merge very tightly.

The story about Uyutnaya is impossible without the story about the Marine Gallery, and the history of the Marine Gallery is closely connected with Uyutnaya.

To understand how we worked and how the fate of the galleries developed, we need to talk simply about the time in which everything happened - it is impossible to separate one project from the other.

ЧМП та Батьки Морської галереї

Галерея "На Уютной" працювала вже цілий рік і я не можу сказати, що фінансові справи йшли чудово. Після того, як я поміняла статус майстерні на підприємство, мені потрібно було платити оренду. Моя сестра Люда, набрала співробітників, яким потрібно було платити зарплату, як розумієте на все це були потрібні гроші, не говорю про організацію виставок.

і в мене виникла ідея створення другої галереї-Морської!

І я приступила до втілення цієї ідеї в життя.

Кінець 1992 року, а також початок 1993, був ознаменований моїм входженням у ЧМП (Чорноморське морське пароплавство), річ у тому, що саме після проведення першої Марини на Уютной, мені зміцніла ця думка.

У той час, спілкуючись із моделістами, які робили моделі яхт, я дізналася, що у світі існують галереї, що мають морську спрямованість.

 Мені потрапив у руці буклет Містік Мерітайм геллері зі США. Подумавши, я вирішила, що це буде дуже здорово для нашого міста мати морську галерею, а спонсором такого проекту могло б стати найпотужнішим підприємством морської галузі в Україні, яким на той час було ЧМП. Почала я свої походи з пропозицією про створення галереї ще за часів, коли начальником ЧМП був пан В.В Пилипенко, а посаду керівника відділу зовнішніх зв'язків обіймав Олексій Савицький. Але, на жаль, саме в цей час і прямо на моїх очах відбувався крах. Цього найвідомішого у світі українського підприємства і керівництво змінилося, і їм було не до моїх ідей.

Незважаючи на все це, я стала частим гостем відділу зовнішніх зв'язків ЧМП.     А з його керівником Олександром Георгійовичем Вінницьким мене познайомив Віталій Олександрович Оплачко, найчастіший гість галереї "На Уютной".             Я вдячна долі, що послала мені зустріч з такими чудовими людьми. Особливо Олегу Борисовичу Смаглію, який тривалий час брав активну участь у долі галереї.

На цьому етапі долі обох галерей дуже щільно зливаються докупи.

Розповідь про Затишну неможлива без розповіді про Морську галерею, а історія Морської галереї тісно пов'язана з Затишною.

Для того, щоб зрозуміти, як ми працювали і, як складалася доля галерей, потрібно говорити просто про час, в якому все відбувалося - неможливо відокремити один проект від іншого.
