Gallery, 1992. The first MARINA ON UYUTNAYA.

Photos from the Opening of the exhibition "Marina on Uyutnaya", opened on July 4th have the caption: "Let's be alive - it will become a tradition"!

At that time, we did not even imagine that these words would become a prophecy for us.

At the time when I am writing these notes, 14 years have passed since the Odesa Marine Art Gallery not only successfully operates, but also holds an international marine biennial at the highest international level, and wins the hearts of not only Odesans but also many famous artists from all over the world.

And then, in the distant 1992, we all had fun. We decorated the yard with colorful flags and the exposition itself was also placed in the yard. Everyone dressed in naval uniforms sang and danced. By the way, about cooperation with the Musical Comedy Theatre, it was the theatre that lent us the sailors' costumes, for which we were incredibly grateful.

And one more detail, for the exhibition the gallery walls, were not enough for us and we took it right out to our courtyard, which became very attractive for everyone who shared our holiday.

 На той час ми й не припускали, що ці слова стануть для нас пророцтвом.

 На той час, коли я пишу ці записки минуло вже 14 років, як Морська Арт Галерея Одеси не тільки успішно працює, а й проводить міжнародне бієнале мариністики на найвищому міжнародному рівні, і завойовує серця не лише одеситів, а й багатьох відомих художників усього світу.

А тоді, далекого 1992 року нам усім було весело. Ми прикрасили двір різнокольоровими прапорцями і саму експозицію також розмістили на подвір'ї. Усі одягнулися у морську форму, співали та танцювали. До речі про співпрацю з Театром Музкомедію, саме театр позичив нам одяг моряків, за що ми були їм неймовірно вдячні.

Та й ще одна деталь, для експозиції нам виявилося недостатньо стін галереї і ми винесли її прямо до нашого дворика, що стало дуже привабливо для всіх, хто розділив наше свято.
